Summer Mission is a place where you spend a long time with God, and team members, while trading in your usual comforts and distractions for the glory of God and His mighty works. Summer Mission is a place where powerful friendships and long lasting relationships are formed, as your very foundation in God is tested. Summer Mission is also a place where you’ll be working with new found friends to bless and impact the communities with awesome worship, powerful revivals, and working in the front lines of God’s battlefield in real time. God, the Bible and everything you have ever read or learnt, will become real as you go through a Summer Mission experience. Summer Mission will be a life-changing experience, and one you’ll never forget!
Summer Mission is done every year mostly by college students who dedicate their lives to the Lord and have the heart for Indonesia. This year we travel to 6 different cities within 19 days… Tomohon, Tobelo, Jailolo (Sahu), Sintang, Semitau and Nanga Pinoh.
The 10 Commandments
- Thou shall obey and submit towards the leadership of the decisions, commands, and rules made.
- Thou shall be punctual (early) for all meetings and team practice
- Thou shall prioritize the team’s well-being above personal agenda
- Thou shall perform every delegated/assigned task
- Thou shall not separating oneself from the team for any purpose such as shopping or relaxation, unless the leadership team has granted permission
- Thou shall not complain regarding anything, but continue to give thanks and maintain joyful attitude at all times.
- Thou shall surrender all personal rights (sleep, to be heard, do date/make a move on opposite sex, etc.) and to willingly put on attitude of servant-hood.
- Thou shall not fight, yell, and scream at one and another in the team
- Thou shall acknowledging authority and respecting the elderly
- Thou shall must know when and where the subsequent meeting will be, and the different equipments/props needed for the event (clothes, musical instruments and equipments)
